Moore Family Folk Art

Alan Moore has been making upcycled folk art for close to 25 years. It all started when his high school art teacher introduced him to the primitive/folk art genre. Alan's primary media are vintage and modern bottle caps, vintage soda and bear cans, with weathered salvaged woods. He has also been know to use driftwood, old roof metals, piano parts, antique toys, and rusty farm equipment. The Moores create together as a family and frequent junk yards, estate sales, and dumpsters to find unique items for their work. Along with selling their work nationally Alan and his daughters teach upcycled art worships in Colorado and they also have a creative team teaching workshops in Florida.
