A retired fitness professional and triathlete, Jen Lesea stepped into her second career in 2014 as a full-time artist after she was diagnosed with hip dysplasia and underwent two PAO (periacetabular osteotomy) surgeries.
She studied at Denver School of Jewelry Arts, and that is where she fell in love with fusing sterling silver. In fusing sterling silver, only heat – no solder – is used to create one-of-a-kind metal textures.
She draws her inspiration from the Rocky Mountains, the warm southwest desert landscape, and geometric elements. By blending her inspirations with unique metal textures, she strives to create jewelry that reflects the road less traveled.
Jen Lesea lives in Lafayette, Colorado, with her jewelry studio in Boulder.
