Parking in Downtown Evergreen

Are you coming downtown for coffee, lunch by Bear Creek, or a visit to The Evergreen Gallery? One of the questions we hear most often is, “Where should I park?” You’ll find free spaces on main street and a few free customer spaces in a small lot on our side of the street. If you’re staying a little longer, we can validate three hours in the large lot next to Beau Jo’s Pizza and Java Groove Cafe.

Free parking on our side of Main Street

There are a few free customer parking spaces in the small lot in front of Silver Arrow and Holly Berry Florist, on the same side of the main street as The Evergreen Gallery. These spaces are reserved for customers of the businesses listed on the blue Reserved Parking sign, including our gallery. No QR code is needed. Check the posted time limit when you park.

You’ll also find free street spaces along the main road (Highway 74).

Three hours free with validation in the large lot next to Beau Jo’s Pizza.

If you’re planning to browse the shops or stay for lunch, the paid parking provided by Ross-Lewis Trust lot next to Beau Jo’s Pizza and Java Groove Cafe is a convenient option. It’s diagonally across the street from The Evergreen Gallery. This is a paid lot where you can get three hours free with a validation code from us or another participating business.

  1. Park and scan the QR code on a sign in the lot. Have your license plate number handy.
  2. Stop in a nearby business for the current code. Come see us at The Evergreen Gallery or ask at a participating business listed on the lot sign. The code changes monthly, so pick it up when you arrive and finish setting up your parking session promptly.
  3. Enter your license plate and contact information, then select three hours. On the next screen, tap Add Promo and enter your validation code before checking out. This is a word that the local businesses have and it is different for each business, and changes every month.
  4. Check that the total is $0, and click on the button “PARK for FREE” to finish registering. Make sure you see a confirmation before heading off to explore.

If you’d like to stay longer, check the price shown after applying the code and before you confirm. If you get stuck or think you entered something incorrectly, come see us right away. We’re happy to help you check your parking session.

Public parking along Highway 73

If you’re happy to walk a little farther, look for the two public lots along Highway 73. One is across from Evergreen Fire Rescue Station No. 1, and the other is just south of the Little Cub Creek Road intersection. The pedestrian route along Highway 73 connects to the sidewalk near Evergreen Dam and continues toward downtown.

Parking on Plettner Lane

The private lot on the hill on Plettner Lane behind Evergreen Mountain Village has its own parking rules. Follow the signs in that lot and ask the business you’re visiting whether it offers validation there.

Remember, our gallery code is for the lot next to Beau Jo’s Pizza and Java Groove Cafe.

Once you’re parked, come say hello! You’ll find The Evergreen Gallery at 28195 Highway 74, across Main Street from Kiki’s Health Cafe. If you have a parking question before you head downtown, give us a call at 303-674-4871.
