Abigail Brown

Functional Pottery

Abigail Brown is an emerging, local Colorado potter who specializes in handmade, functional pottery with bright glazes and stunning accents. Brown typically focuses on forces of nature for her subject matter. Many of her pieces have themes involving nature such as rain, snow, clouds, flowers and bees. Abigail has a wide selection of dishware including wine cups, serving bowls, wine stoppers, pitchers, flower pots and bud vases, and more. Glazes typically come in one, solid and consistent color such as eggplant, green, pink, cream, gray, blue and mint. Abigail’s pottery always has some sort of accent or design- ranging from gold accents, carvings, or stamps.

Abigail received her Bachelor of Arts from the College of Wooster in Ohio. Years following graduation, she moved to Austin, TX and began making wares to create her brand. Soon after, she began teaching at Laguna Gloria of The Contemporary Austin.
